I have a '65 International Harvester 500 with a 6-way blade that needs a good home. It has a 37hp diesel engine and a gross weight of 12000 lbs and can easily be transported with a truck and trailer. Since I bought it I had replaced the hidraulic pump for the cylinders, 90% of the hoses, rebuilt the one final drive and the idlers, replaced the turn clutch pads, filters and had the radiator re-cored. The one track is about 80% and the other 15%. The previous owner had neglected the machine and metal got past the hidraulic filter and wore the hidraulic pump (replaced) and power revercer pump (still needs replacement +/- $1000 for a new one. One of the glow plugs is bad and makes starting hard in the winter. It is operational for about 30 minutes and then loses power in the drives because of the oil thinning when warming up. It is very powerfull and can push a full blade (7'X 3') of dirt. Also used it to push stumps out - ideal for a farm. A workshop and parts manual is included as well as an updated list of part numbers, dealers for parts and websites. Most parts have prices with. It is located near Winchester, VA.
